AI Software Developer (f/m/d)
You develop our own software with AI features, such as the Medical Intelligence Recording Assistant (MedMentis), the pentest platform (RedMentis) and the inventory management system (StockMentis): from the backend and APIs to the AI features, properly tested and secure.

Your responsibilities
- You build new features for our software, from the idea through implementation to release, together with our AI engineers
- You build backends and APIs in Python or TypeScript and connect databases and language models
- You implement AI features, for example summarising and structuring texts and conversations, search in documents (RAG) and assistants inside the software
- You write tests, review code in the team and keep automated testing and delivery (CI/CD) running
- You take care of security and data protection: secure coding, protection against prompt injection (hidden instructions in texts meant to redirect the model) and data minimisation under the GDPR
- You help run the software: Docker, Linux servers in Germany, monitoring and troubleshooting
Your profile
- Degree or training in computer science or similar, or equivalent professional experience
- At least two years of software development experience, confident in Python or TypeScript
- Experience with web backends (for example FastAPI or Node.js), REST APIs and SQL databases
- First hands-on experience with language models via APIs, with RAG or vector databases (databases that find texts by meaning) is a plus
- You use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or GitHub Copilot and review their output carefully
- Docker, Git and Linux are part of your everyday work
- Very good German, good English
