Compliance & Privacy Lead (f/m/d)
You own data protection and information security at GAD and advise our customers. Compliance as a design requirement, not a check at the end.
Your responsibilities
- You own GDPR, TDDDG and our ISO 27001 certified information security management system (ISMS) and keep it up to date
- You implement NIS 2 and the EU AI Act within the company and advise customers on them in GRC projects
- You prepare data protection impact assessments (DPIA), negotiate data processing agreements and support audits
- You check export and dual-use questions in customer projects, i.e. whether software or services require an export license
- You train employees on data protection and information security, including via GAD Academy
- You are the interface between management, engineering and external legal counsel
Your profile
- A degree in law, business law, business informatics or similar
- Several years of experience in data protection or IT compliance, ideally at a technology company
- Confident in GDPR and ISO 27001, experience with NIS 2 or the EU AI Act is a plus
- Certifications such as CIPP/E, data protection officer (TÜV) or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are welcome
- You are confident in front of management, customers and authorities
- Business-fluent German, good English
