(Junior) Penetration Tester (f/m/d)
You attack web applications, APIs, cloud environments and corporate networks in a controlled way, before real attackers do. With clear reports that show what needs to be done.
Your responsibilities
- You test web applications, APIs, cloud environments and Active Directory (the central user management in corporate networks) for vulnerabilities
- You take part in red team engagements: realistic attacks over several weeks, from publicly available information (OSINT) to initial access
- You write clear reports with CVSS ratings (a scale for severity) and a management summary
- You support customers in closing the gaps and run retests to check that the fixes work
- You feed your test experience into RedMentis, our software for AI-assisted attack path analysis
Your profile
- A degree in computer science, IT security or similar, or vocational training as an IT specialist with further training in IT security
- First hands-on experience in offensive security, for example from an internship, working student job, CTF competitions or your own labs such as Hack The Box or TryHackMe
- Basic knowledge of web technology, networks and Windows domains, first experience with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap or BloodHound
- Certifications such as OSCP or eJPT are a plus, not a must
- Care and discretion: you work with sensitive customer data
- Very good German and good English
