Your responsibilities

  • You monitor our customers' systems and networks in 24/7 operation and analyze alerts in the SIEM, the system that collects security events centrally
  • You detect suspicious activity, prioritize it, and trigger the right steps
  • You handle security incidents from the first alert to containment and documentation
  • You work with the pentest team and the customer teams and use findings from RedMentis to improve detection rules
  • You help improve detection rules and playbooks continuously
  • You keep your analyses and handovers clean and documented

Your profile

  • Interest in IT security and joy in tracking down attack patterns
  • First experience with networks, operating systems, or security tools (SIEM, EDR), or strong willingness to learn
  • A calm, careful way of working, even when things move fast
  • Willingness to work shifts in 24/7 operation
  • Good German and English (technical texts)
